I get lots of e-mails from you these days, many of them are nice, some of them are nasty, and some of them are deranged. This little exchange doesn't fall into any of those categories. Here is the full exchange I had with "Charles" this morning - a very nice guy with a slightly unusual request:

Continuing my policy of publishing the more rabid "fan" mail I get, here's a little gem I got in my inbox this morning from "cbrown6". While most of my critics get the hump after reading just one article, this dedicated reviewer has detailed startling new evidence that rips apart the supposed "evidence" behind several of my articles here.

So my number one fan DiamondGuzzler, who took issue with my MuhammedTube post, is still trying to convince me that I'm a pawn in a gigantic war between Christians and Muslims. Hopefully AOL will do the decent thing and pull his account now that I've reported his hate speech. In the meantime, he's sent yet another e-mail, in spite of having promised me that he would delete any reply.

I can't be bothered to keep sending e-mails, so here is his e-mail with my reply inserted. Have fun.

So apparently the Muslim-hating extremist-Christian "DiamondGuzzler", who wrote in with his considered feedback a few days ago in response to my MuhammedTube article, has decided to respectfully decline my invitation to go chill out with a pint or two. As well as leaving comments when I posted his letter, he sent me the following two e-mails, the second of which is a real masterpiece, surely several quotes from which are worthy of a mention on "Fundies Say the Darnedest Things":

Edit: losing patience I decided to forward the second e-mail to AOL this afternoon. It may not keep him off the internet, but it'll shut him up for a while.

Well you know you've hit the big time in blogging when you start getting hate-mail! Apparently I've offended a Christian AOL user with my article about MuhammedTube! This is particularly ironic, since the study I blogged about yesterday notes among other things that AOL users are more susceptible to being fed nonsense. "DiamondGuzzler" has obviously been guzzling a healthy diet BS with his glittering appetizers. Here's his mini rant in full...
