[BPSDB] This is an absolutely fascinating interview between Richard Dawkins and Derren Brown on the subject of psychics, where Brown lays into his "peers", and explains how he believes they rationalize their work. The interview was conducted for "Enemies of Reason", a new documentary, and although only a few minutes will be shown in the final cut, the whole interview was deemed interesting enough to put online for the public to see. It's nearly an hour long, but well worth watching.

Richard Dawkins loves the interview format, especially when he's running the interview.
Unfortunately, Dawkins won't take full responsibility for stepping outside of the lab.
This video explains why http://keepthatfaith.blip.tv/file/1508506/
This video, launched today, is a little Christmas gift to Dawkins:

Ah yes, D'Souza... the reason people don't like debating him isn't because of his Mad Skillz, it's because when he's on a podium much of what he says consists of either a) avoiding any direct questions and b) ranting about a whole range of strawman fallacies, like equating atheism with communism, or suggesting that atheism leads to crime or whatever.
Ultimately, these are points that are ultimately best argued with actual facts and references - winning oral debates no more makes you "right" than being able to shout the loudest in a group does.

I think that Dakwins answered this statement in describing how people felt pissed off when Shermer exposed a medium live.
People want to believe and when you shatter that illusion, they retreat further into that belief: like D'Souza here.
