The Quackometer is Back Online!

Quackometer is back online! Go over to www.quackometer.net and cheer (and read the insane back story if you're not already familiar with it.

In tribute, I was going to post a detailed blog here about the bizarre fantasist Mr. Joseph Chikelue Obi, but then I looked at his website and realized that really his own words to more to make himself look stupid than anything I could write. It's at http://www.professorjosephchikelueobi.com/.

Predictably he has made a comment about Quackometers rebirth on his blog. Bizarrely he describes himself in the third person "Alighting from the back seat of an Extended Black Daimler Limousine..." (presumably the only vehicle long enough to print his web address on) "...at the start of a Whirlwind Alternative Medicine Tour , essentially spanning right across the main length and breadth of the United Kingdom , a warmly chuckling Dr Obi...". He then goes on to claim that he is suing Netcetera (he isn't), and that his rich clients are going to fund a litigation battle (they arent) that he will wage against every anti-quackery website in the universe (he won't).

The daft thing about this whole affair is that Netcetera (we'll pull any customer's website if you just send us an e-mail) are now the laughing stock of the internet, and while I'm sure Obi thinks he's one some kind of victory, he is now more of a joke than ever.
