Hello and welcome to the 101st Carnival of the Godless, a celebration of bloggers who are missing a certain something from their lives, and are pretty damned happy about it. So without further ado, since it's my birthday tomorrow and I'm heading out for a meal shortly, here's the latest atheist fare for your perusal.
However, to do things a little differently, here's a little birthday competition for you. I'm going to present each post with a number. I'll send a genuine prize (probably a book token or a good bottle of wine depending on location) to the first person who leaves a comment in which they can correctly explain what the numbers mean. And no guess-spamming - you're allowed one guess at a time, and you need to give at least some vague reasoning. If nobody gets it after a week or so, I'll give a prize to the people who came the closest first, or made the biggest steps with their reasoning, so get your thoughts down in the comments.

I guess 27. I forget what exactly I did, I took I took the numbers and added then divided them, then added that to the mean of the comments, and got something like 26.86 so my guess is 27.
The first entry abtout the satanism FAQ has been deleted. It seems that the entire blog got nuked.
Blimey, well I'll leave it up in case it reappears. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm going to go with a guess on my post...
...you knew that at the time of me writing the post, I was eating seven chicken wings while watching a movie about seven little dwarfs and some white lady for the seventh time?
That is uncanny! Sadly wrong, but it's the, er, best guess so far.
A clue... the number isn't necessarily related to the post...

B. - the year on your front page is listed as 2007 ... working on your Phd. I figure the average age of someone earning that distinction is 29 - and it's the same as the date! :-)

Well my blog title and my post title have 5 syllables each, but other than that I can't fathom what the numbers are for.
If you click on each post and find the nth letter, the sentence turns out to be: "Riddle me this, Batman!"
Is it time to put us out of our misery yet?

One person here has come closer than the others so far, but nobody has quite cracked it completely :)
