What Kind of Liberal are You?

Well I don't really class myself as "a liberal" in the American sense, the term having subtly different meanings here in Britain (Liberal Democrats... eww), but here's a cool little online quiz you can take. Apparently, and surprisingly accurately, it says that I am "a Reality-Based Intellectualist, also known as the liberal elite. You are a proud member of what’s known as the reality-based community, where science, reason, and non-Jesus-based thought reign supreme." So, what kind of Liberal are you? (HT: Mike Dunford)

My Liberal Identity:

You are a Reality-Based Intellectualist, also known as the liberal elite. You are a proud member of what’s known as the reality-based community, where science, reason, and non-Jesus-based thought reign supreme.

I too am a reality-based Intellectualist, I'm going to have to redo the test and see if there are any other kind of liberal.

Dammit - we're all three of us reality-based intellectualists. I'm starting to suspect there's only one type of liberal now...

Lol, Coturnix at Blog Around the Clock got the same result as well, but I have seen different ones, honest!

I'd love to see how a right-winger would score...

Well, I was a neo-hippie. This surprised me slightly, as I don't smoke pot, have long hair, hug trees, or anything like that.

In fact, I kind of think of myself usually as some kind of intellectual based in reality, so maybe a different test result would have been more appropriate. Who knows?
